An impromptu Spencer Pratt rally in the heart of downtown Los Angeles devolved into a vicious brawl Friday.
Jake Lang, a far-right political activist and online influencer, led the event. Wearing a brown tactical-style vest, he carried a sign that said, “Deport Nithya Raman back to India,” and another sign that said, “Spencer Pratt can save L.A. from Communists.”
Some in the crowd didn’t take the message well.
Today I was brutally ASSAULTED dozens of times by domestic terrorist SCUM ANTFIA in Downtown LA!!!! 😡
I was simply holding a sign saying “SPENCER PRATT CAN SAVE LA FROM COMMUNISM” 👀
For this I was once again LYNCHED by illegal immigrants and radical leftists!!!! pic.twitter.com/8BZl1Ciiks
Astonishing footage shows a counter-protester punching Lang and tossing him by his vest to the ground. Lang is then seen scurrying away from the detractors as people defending him used pepper spray and stun guns to deter an opposition crowd outnumbering them.
The crowd continued to chase Lang and pepper him with blows after the confrontation. At least one person wearing a Palestinian flag and a person waving a Mexico flag are seen harassing the right-wing personality.

One Lang defender, Proud Boy Jon Mellis, allegedly hit a woman during the brawl. A later video showed a person beating a shirtless Mellis as he cowers with his hands over his head. People with Lang attempted to use stun guns to help Mellis to little avail. At one point a woman wearing a “PRESS” vest is seen screaming at Mellis.
“Man or woman, you come at me violently…you learn your lesson,” Mellis is heard saying.
Counterprotesters screamed “get the f–k out of LA” and accused Lang of being a pedophile.

LA police received a 911 call reporting 150-200 protesters near the city’s Union Station close to 11 a.m., according to Citizen.
Lang claimed “AntiFa” assaulted him during what he called a “freedom of speech peaceful event.”
“Today I was brutally ASSAULTED dozens of times by domestic terrorist SCUM ANTFIA in Downtown LA!!!!” Lang wrote on X Friday.
“I was simply holding a sign saying “SPENCER PRATT CAN SAVE LA FROM COMMUNISM.” For this I was once again LYNCHED by illegal immigrants and radical leftists!!!!”
The pardoned Jan. 6 protester has a complicated history. He’s faced accusations of white supremacism, made racist statements in public, and has been banned from Texas following an alleged death threat against Karmelo Anthony. He was also seen wearing an ankle monitor at Friday’s event.
Lang is also a candidate in Florida’s U.S. Senate election this fall.
