Southern Miss had the most bonkers pick-6 in college football history

You've never seen a pick-six like this before.

Southern Mississippi may have just had the wildest interception return for a touchdown in college football history on Saturday night.

The play was about as close to a touchdown for Appalachian State as possible.

The pass was completed, mostly, right down near the goal line, and there was no one between the receiver and paydirt.

Except he stumbled.

And when he stumbled, the ball popped loose.

And when the ball popped loose, Southern Miss DB Ian Foster was there waiting for it.

And at that point, all Foster had to do was run 99 yards the other way for a touchdown of his own.

Foster was a high school state champion who initially went to Marshall before transferring to play for the Golden Eagles.

His mother was a college athlete, playing basketball at UAB.

And now Foster has a crazy highlight he'll never forget.
