Sydney Sweeney Reunites With Ex-Fiancé Jonathan Davino Amid Scooter Braun Romance Rumors
Christian Pulisic is calling a foul on those Sydney Sweeney dating rumors.
The captain of the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team shot down speculation that he's romantically involved with the Housemaid actress.
"Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life," he wrote on his since-expired Instagram Stories Dec. 28."Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives."
Christian—who has reportedly been dating professional golfer Alexa Melton since last year—doubled down on the rumors about the Euphoria star holding no weight by also commenting underneath an Instagram post claiming that he's "reportedly dating Sydney Sweeney," saying, "Fake news guys let's stop with the silly rumor."
Meanwhile, Sydney has been romantically linked to Scooter Braun—who she's been spotted out and about with several times this year—despite recently proclaiming that she isn't attached to anyone.
"I'm single," she told GQ in an interview published Nov. 4. "I don't think I'm looking for a man right now. What I've learned this year is that I have a really, really amazing group of girlfriends and I am strong and independent and that I'm going to be OK."
However, the 28-year-old is open to love—she's just not in a rush to go find it.
"If love finds me, love finds me," she explained. "I'm a hopeless romantic, so I hope love finds me, but I'm not the type of person that wants to go out all the time. And I do believe in true love and wanting to be with someone for the rest of my life."

Sydney—who split from fiancé Johnathan Davino in March after seven years together—reiterated that she's not likely to go out and search for a romantic partner, saying, "You won't see me jumping around a lot of places."
The Emmy nominee went on to explain why she wants to keep her personal life as private as she possibly can.

"The professional benefits for me of being private is for my own health and sanity," she explained. "I think that if I let everybody in all the time, I have nothing for myself."
"I'm just a 28-year-old woman who's trying to figure it out, and I'm still learning and I'm going to make mistakes and I'm going to grow," she continued. "And I think that it's important to be able to do that without having to say every single thing all the time."
