The news of the actress’s passing at 79 was confirmed on October 11, and fans from all across the globe poured in their heartfelt condolences. Jessica Pegula, the US tennis player who boasts a Grand Slam final appearance, shared a picture of the late actress on her Instagram story and wrote:
