RJ Harvey has experienced ups and downs during his rookie season. The running back joined a Denver Broncos team with plenty of talent at the position, including JK Dobbins and Jaleel McLaughlin.

The Broncos (7-2) will clash in a divisional game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, hoping to continue their remarkable run in the 2025 NFL season and get closer to the divisional title and dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs.

Harvey is a good option for fantasy managers, considering that the Raiders don't have the best defense.

RJ Harvey fantasy outlook for Week 10

RJ Harvey had a promising start to the season, rushing the ball six times for 70 yards. He had alternated positive and negative performances after that, touching the ball 14 times at times and then being limited to just two carries.

In comparison to teammate Dobbins, Harvey is projected to score 12.9 points, per Sportskeeda's fantasy analyzer, broken down into 56.9 yards rushing, 0.8 touchdowns, 0.7 receptions for 9.5 yards and 0.1 touchdowns.

The Raiders have allowed 17 points per game to the running back position, including 20 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. It's worth noting that Dobbins is the RB1 at this moment and he could get more touches than Harvey.

Should fantasy managers start RJ Harvey in Week 10?

While his projection looks solid, and the Raiders' defense has been poor against running backs this season, fantasy managers are better off staying away from RJ Harvey.

The rookie has lost the race to Dobbins, and while he's blossomed into a two-way threat, the Broncos have solid pass catchers to help quarterback Bo Nix. Nevertheless, Broncos offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi implies Harvey's role will increase moving forward.

“I think obviously there’s a skillset there. Good hands. He [Harvey] is athletic," Lombardi said. "Then I think his experience as a quarterback, I think when you’ve played that position, you can see the game a little more holistically. "He has great feel, great instincts, and you add all those things together, and he’s a good runner, and he’s a good receiver and a valuable piece. I think it’s a combination of athletic ability, and intelligence, and football I.Q. and good instincts. All those things go together, and we’re real excited about him.”

If you're thinking about starting Harvey, he could be a good option as a flex or RB3.
