Chilling footage captured the terrifying moment a shotgun-wielding maniac blasted several rounds through the front door of a South Carolina home – before allegedly returning hours later and gunning down a teenage girl.
Sean Xavier Hubbard, 34, was seen on disturbing doorbell footage stalking up to a Rock Hill home Saturday night with a large weapon hidden beneath a black sheet before yanking open the screen door and firing a shot into the doorway, according to local reports.
The armed lunatic then inched closer to the door and frantically cocked his shotgun while scanning the area, video obtained by WBTV showed.
No one was believed to be inside the Mount Gallant Road home when Hubbard allegedly unloaded the shots.
Authorities were investigating the incident when the unhinged suspect returned to the residence around 11 p.m. and shot 19-year-old Camariya Tidwell, who was found dead on the ground outside the home when police arrived, WSOC reported.
“This man came back and killed my 19-year-old daughter,” her devastated mother, Shifarnia McCullough, told the outlet.
“She didn’t hate nobody. She loved everybody. She was innocent, but you’re telling me now that she’s gone. Why didn’t [police] find his address four hours ago when he shot through my house?!”
Rock Hill Police Department Lt. Michael Chavis said eight officers went to Hubbard’s home after the initial shooting but couldn’t find him, adding that investigators believe Tidwell was not his “intended target.”
“It was somebody else our suspect had an issue with, and he thought the best way to solve this was to engage in violence, which is horrendous,” Chavis said.
“It should not have happened.”
The grief-stricken family told WCNC they had hired the accused killer via social media to work on a cousin’s car, but tensions boiled over when she fired him after he allegedly threatened her.
Hubbard, of Clover, was taken into custody Sunday morning, according to local reports.
He was charged with murder, discharging firearms into a dwelling, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to jail records.
Hubbard is being held without bond at York County Detention Center.
