Shocking video shows a helicopter repeatedly crashing into a taxiway after a flight instructor lost control while teaching a lesson — with the teacher and his student miraculously escaping with only minor injuries.

CCTV footage from Cedar City Regional Airport in Utah shows the red Bell 206 lifting off before it bounced on impact and started helplessly careening across the taxiway.

It shows the chopper’s tail section being sheared off after it hit the ground nearly vertically, as it continues to spin and crash until it comes to a standstill in a pile of dust and debris.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) released the video while announcing that the May 23 crash was caused by the 32-year-old instructor losing control, not mechanical failure.

Miraculously, both the instructor and his student, a 25-year-old man, only suffered “minor” injuries, according to the report, which did not identify them.
