The Browns’ merry-go-round of quarterbacks has finally landed on Shedeur Sanders.

The NFL’s most polarizing rookie signal caller will make his first career start in Week 13 against the Raiders and become the 42nd quarterback to start under center for the Browns since 1999.

Sanders filled in for starter Dillon Gabriel last week after the fellow Browns rookie quarterback suffered a concussion, and he remains under protocol this week.

Sportsbooks were quick to drop player props for Sanders ahead of Sunday’s game. As of this writing, Sanders is the only player with props listed for that game at FanDuel.

Based on his props, the expectations are muted for the typically flashy passer.

FanDuel opened Sanders’ passing yard Over/Under at 159.5, which is almost exactly the average for the three quarterbacks who have seen the field for the Browns this season — Joe Flacco, Gabriel and Sanders combined for 159.3 passing yards through 10 games.

Sanders threw for just 47 yards last week in about one half of football and tallied 138 passing yards in the one preseason game that he saw significant action.

His odds to top 200 or more passing yards are listed at +240 and the odds for him to hit 275-plus yards through the air are +1280.

Joe Flacco is the only Browns QB to top 275 passing yards in a game this season, which he did once his his four games.

Sanders’ passing touchdown Over/Under is listed at 0.5, with heavy juice on the over at -192. A bet on Sanders to throw at least two TDs is listed at +320 and three or more TDs is listed at +1200.

FanDuel even has props for Sanders’ rushing yards, as the quarterback is known scramble out of the pocket and sometimes take costly sacks. His rushing yards Over/Under is 20.5.

He finished with 16 rushing yards on three attempts in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens and had 19 yards on four rushes in the aforementioned preseason game.

It’s early, but given Sanders’ popularity, you can expect books will have a lot of handle on his props entering kickoff Sunday afternoon.
