Shedeur Sanders is dropping hints.
Either that or he's trolling, because the Colorado QB sure made it sound like the Steelers are targeting him with the No. 21 overall pick in Thursday's NFL Draft first round.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Sanders was asked for his Mount Rushmore of QB-pass catcher duos.
He named Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, then Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.
And then this: "Whoever the QB for DK Metcalf and George Pickens... whoever that is this year."
Very subtle, Shedeur, very subtle.

The discussion then turned to who Sanders' favorite receivers are, and two of the four he named were Metcalf and Pickens.
There have been some trade rumors surrounding Pickens after Pittsburgh traded for Metcalf and signed him to a big extension. But it sure sounds like Sanders would be enthused about the prospect of playing with both.
They'd certainly provide a rookie QB two huge, athletic targets to trust on the outside.
Whether Sanders makes it to No. 21 is a different story.
There've been some back-and-forth Giants rumblings at No. 3. The Saints could go QB at No. 9. And there's always the potential of a trade-up.
But Sanders seems to be suggesting that he thinks if he gets to No. 21, the Steelers will take him.
Good thing, considering how big a fan Sanders is of Metcalf and Pickens.
