Shedeur Sanders' first coach spills the tea about Browns QB

The Cleveland Browns ended the Shedeur Sanders NFL Draft slide by selecting him at No. 144 overall, which came in the fifth round and the last day of the draft.

It was a shocking turn of events, especially for somebody who was once pegged as the potential No. 1 pick.

A lot has come out since the draft, including reports of Sanders tanking pre-draft interviews, and a new report that the Browns were worried about his negative plays in college

Regardless of all those reports, Sanders' former coordinator, Michael Pollock, took to X with a strong message in support of the former Colorado Buffaloes star.

"I was the first Offensive Coordinator that @ShedeurSanders had in college, and I have been with him throughout his college career. He has had multiple OC’s in college and has NEVER had a problem learning a new system, being prepared, and executing at a high level. STOP THE LIES!"

Pollock was at Jackson State as an assistant coach under Deion Sanders before coming to Colorado with him, Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and plenty of others. Pollock has since been a quality control analyst and is now the special teams coordinator, so he has played many roles under Deion Sanders.

But, he has also seen Shedeur Sanders during his entire college run, so he certainly knows how the former Buffs quarterback has fared in college.

As for Sanders' status with the Browns, there is a path to playing time, especially with the Browns coin-toss of a QB room that includes Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel, not to mention the oft-injured Deshaun Watson.
