Sheamus competed in a singles match against a Judgment Day member. The match ended in a controversial manner.

Last week on WWE RAW, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor lost the World Tag Team Titles to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. Later on in the night, JD and Balor were part of the number one contender's battle royal. During the match, Balor and McDonagh got together and eliminated Sheamus. Tonight on the red brand, JD and Balor went into Adam Pearce's office to ask for a title rematch. However, the RAW GM told them that the Celtic Warrior wanted a match with one of them. JD agreed to face the Irish star.

Sheamus and McDonagh competed in a hard-fought contest. Finn Balor made his presence felt at ringside multiple times. He prevented the former WWE Champion from winning the match when he placed JD McDonagh's foot on the rope during a pinfall attempt. Towards the end of the match, the Irish star climbed the top rope, but Balor hit him with a shillelagh. JD then hit the Spanish Fly to pick up the win.

Judgment Day refused to help Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio has been having problems with his other Judgment Day stablemates, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor, over the past few weeks. It was Dom running his mouth to Adam Pearce that resulted in Judgment Day having to defend the Tag Titles last week.

Tonight on WWE RAW, Dominik Mysterio said they have a problem since Penta and Rusev are fighting over his title. He asked JD and Balor to help him. However, they refused to help out their stablemate this time. As a result, Dom got on the phone and asked someone else for help.

It will be interesting to see if JD McDonagh and Finn Balor will get a rematch for the World Tag Team Titles.

According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
