Mark Henry is a WWE Hall of Famer and is regarded as one of the toughest professional wrestlers of all time. The 54-year-old is a former World Heavyweight Champion and has fans worldwide.

The World's Strongest Man is an ardent follower of the modern era. He has an eye for talent, and he recently praised the Mexican-American female wrestler, Persephone.

Persephone is only 24 years old, but possesses immense potential. She is currently signed to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). However, she is often seen wrestling on AEW. At Forbidden Door 2025, she, Alex Windsor, and Bozilla unsuccessfully challenged Mercedes Mone for the AEW TBS Title. This was one of the best matches of the night.

Persephone is scheduled to challenge Athena for the ROH Women's World Championship at Final Battle 2025. She recently delivered a backstage promo for this match. Interestingly, Mark Henry responded to this.

The veteran claimed that the Mexican-American is one of a kind and is ready to take her career to the next level.

"Very nice I hope this young lady gets a shot at the big time. She’s ready for it!" he wrote.

Mark Henry slams AEW for changing the name of his finishing move

AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs is often seen performing the World's Strongest Slam. However, the company has changed this move's name to the Most Dangerous Slam.

Mark Henry was unhappy about this, and he was quite vocal about it in a new episode of the Busted Open podcast.

"They called it the Most Dangerous Slam (...) They don't call it the World's Strongest Slam. They're like, 'F*** Mark Henry.' F*** you, how about that? That's to whose decision that is [to rename the slam]. You cannot disrespect me and expect me to kiss your a** about it. I'm not gonna do it. I'd rather be fired or kicked off the air before I let somebody feel like they all got power over me," Henry said.

Hopefully, Tony Khan will listen to the legend's complaint and rename the Most Dangerous Slam to the World's Strongest Slam. It remains to be seen what the future holds for them.
