Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier mentioned Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark once again. Clark's name was dropped by Collier as the players are negotiating a new CBA (collective bargaining agreement) with the WNBA. The players are seeking more compensation for the work they've put in now that the league has started to gain more recognition.

A recent interview with Glamour Magazine was released where Collier's take on the league's pay gap was discussed. The Lynx star wasn't afraid to express her thoughts on the matter. According to her, the WNBA has taken advantage of the players' talents by not paying them what they think they deserve.

The five-time All-Star expressed how much revenue Clark has helped the WNBA make. Despite that, however, the Fever star continues to be underpaid.

“We are being so grossly almost taken advantage of, and it should be illegal,” Collier said. “The amount of money that Caitlin Clark has made the league is insane, and she’s getting 0% of it because we have no rev share. She gets less than $80,000 a year, and she’s bringing in, like, hundreds of millions of dollars. It’s insane.”

After what Napheesa Collier said, fans revealed their thoughts on the current matter.

"Napheesa Collier just shamelessly plugging Caitlin's name. I respect it," a fan said.

"Phee speaking Facts," another fan commented. "Those fans are mad at a player fighting for others to get paid more and it would lead to Clark getting paid more but they’re so mad at collier for calling for their favourite player to get paid😂😂" one fan said.

Other fans didn't like how Collier used Clark's name again.

"Remember when Steph White said she was tired of people trying to use Caitlin for their own agendas," someone commented.

"Now they want to talk about CC.....smdh," a comment read. "Using Caitlin's name again," one fan complained.

When did Napheesa Collier mention Caitlin Clark's name?

This isn't the only time that Napheesa Collier mentioned Clark's name during an interview. When the Lynx's season ended, Collier had her exit interview, where she called out Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.

The WNBA star questioned the leadership of Engelbert and revealed what she said about Clark. Collier allegedly asked the commissioner how a player like the former Iowa star would be compensated, given that she's helped the league generate a massive amount of revenue.

"Her response was that ‘Caitlin should be grateful she makes 16 million off the court, because without the platform that the WNBA gives her, she wouldn't make anything’. In that same conversation, she told me that 'players should be on their knees thanking their lucky stars for the media rights deals that I got them.'" Collier said.

Engelbert has now refuted Napheesa Collier's allegations.
