The 2025-26 NBA season continues on Monday with 11 games on the schedule, including the OKC Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks matchup. The Mavericks welcomed the defending NBA champions at the American Airlines Center in hopes of becoming the first team to beat them this season.

The Thunder have won their first three games of the campaign on the shoulders of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. They defeated the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers in overtime before dominating the Atlanta Hawks.

On the other hand, the Mavericks are off to a rocky start with a record of 1-2 heading into Monday's game. They were bamboozled by Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in their season opener and lost to the Washington Wizards the following game. They earned their first win of the season on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
