Sherrone Moore made headlines for all the wrong reasons on Wednesday as Michigan fired the coach for having an "inappropriate relationship with a staff member. A few hours after the Wolverines dismissed Moore, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his executive assistant, Paige Shiver.
On Thursday, analyst Stephen A. Smith discussed Moore's cause of firing on his SiriusXM show.
"Sex is undefeated ... I'm not joking around, and I don't mean undefeated like this," Smith said. "Everybody relents, everybody caves in, that's not what I'm saying. What I mean is, practically every single time we hear about some incident similar to what Sherrone Moore is going through, that's the ultimate conclusion you draw.•

Moore married his wife, Kelli, in 2015. The couple has three daughters: Shiloh, born in 2019, Solei, born in 2022, and Sadie, born earlier this year.
Sherrone Moore served as Michigan HC for around two years

During Michigan's 2023 championship-winning season, Moore was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. He served had a victory as head coach in one game during Jim Harbaugh’s absence.
Moore was promoted to head coach at Michigan in 2024. He has posted an 18-8 record as Michigan's head coach across two seasons. Moore led the Wolverines to a 9-3 record this regular season, but won't coach them against Texas in the Citrus Bowl on New Year's Eve.
