Seth Rollins is currently recovering from a shoulder injury and has no clear timetable for his WWE return. Following John Cena's retirement, Rollins was asked about his career plans and if he's close to calling it quits.

Rollins and Becky Lynch were at Saturday Night's Main Event but weren't shown on camera. Nevertheless, they were part of the tribute videos for Cena over the past week.

Speaking on the Ross Tucker podcast, The Visionary was asked about his retirement plans and if it's in the near future.

"Nah man, not really. I got a lot more years left in the tank, so I'm not sure I'm there just yet. I think often, I guess, about the mortality of my career because I started when I was 17 and now I'm nearly 40 and I'm certainly not going until I'm 60. I’m almost closer to the end than the beginning. So I think about, I suppose, like the mortality and the fact that it's winding down. Maybe there's some urgency to do some things that I haven't done or contribute in a different way. But, my last match, my last moment, that's so far away that I haven't quite got there yet," Rollins said. [H/T Fightful]

At just 39 years old, Seth Rollins is still in the prime of his career. WWE's lesser schedule also ensures that his body won't be as beat up as in his early days with the company. However, he also needs to tone down his style to avoid further injuries.

Seth Rollins not targeting a specific WWE Superstar upon his return

In an exclusive interview with ClutchPoints, Seth Rollins was asked if he's targeting someone upon his return from injury. Rollins has a score to settle against The Vision, but it seems like he's not holding grudges against his former stable.

"The primary [target] in my return will actually not be a person at all. It'll be a thing. And that would be the World Heavyweight Championship because I never lost the title, so I am rightfully the World Heavyweight Champion," Rollins said.

The current World Heavyweight Champion is CM Punk, who is one of Rollins' bitter rivals. Punk is set to defend his title against Bron Breakker on the first episode of RAW in 2026, so The Visionary might have no choice but to confront The Vision upon his return.
