SEOUL, South Korea — The Seoul Metropolitan Government has officially opened applications for the ” Try Everything 2026: Seoul Unicorn Challenge.” Organized alongside the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), this premier challenge aims to discover promising startups and their expansion into the Korean market.

The application window runs from May 19, 2026, until June 30, 2026, at 23:59:59 (KST). Startups under 10 years old led by a founder with non-Korean citizenship seeking growth in Korea are strongly encouraged to apply.

A total of seven leading startups will be selected as winners. Finalists will compete for a total prize pool of KRW 120,000,000 (approximately USD 82,000), subject to change based on exchange rates. Alongside cash prizes, winners will receive the prestigious Seoul Metropolitan Government Mayor’s Award.

Beyond financial rewards, the Seoul Unicorn Challenge offers a comprehensive suite of high-value benefits designed to accelerate international growth.
