"Senile and dementia in its purest form. . ." a fan commented.

@jonmachota @1053thefan Senile and dementia in its purest form…

"Eternal optimism is a downfall of the entire Jones family when it comes to running a football team... they overrate the players they love and take too long to move on," one fan wrote. "Lmfao 😂 stubbornness gets you this 3-13-1," another fan wrote. "Open your eyes old man," a fan said. "I just hope Jerry knows what his legacy will be after all of this. The Cowboys were America’s Team under Landry for football. Not for drama like Housewives of Dallas. The kids will sale 🤷🏾‍♂️," one fan tweeted. "Peak insanity," another fan said.

Bland remains a playmaker in the secondary and has recorded 28 solo tackles and one interception this season.

Meanwhile, Mazi Smith is struggling to make an impact. He has yet to record a solo tackle or sack this campaign and has posted sub-50 grades from analysts.

Jerry Jones discusses controversy and relevance in Cowboys culture

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones shared his perspective on why the team remains one of the most talked-about franchises in the NFL. He explained on Monday that he sometimes uses controversy to keep the Cowboys in the public eye.

“What you do is a little bit of my philosophy,” Jones said, via SiriusXM. “Controversy. Controversy. I’m serious. I’m dead serious. Not serial killing. Not that. But controversy. The Dallas Cowboys probably have the kind of interest that we have in no small part because we stay out front and we stay controversial. “When it gets slow, I stir that sh*t up. The Dallas Cowboys probably have the kind of interest that we have in no small part because we stay out front and we stay controversial. My point is I just want to be relevant. I just want you to be looking at us.”

Despite not reaching the NFC championship in three decades, Dallas remains financially strong and culturally visible within the league.
