Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr.'s Son Rocky Is Truly His Mini-Me in New Photo
Whether last summer or any time of year, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. love spending time with family.
And recently, the I Know What You Did Last Summer costars gave fans a peek inside their world with daughter Charlotte, 17, and son Rocky, 14.
Offering a glimpse into her "race weekend with my boys," Sarah shared snaps of her youngest racing go-karts on Oct. 26—with many followers noting he looks just like dad Freddie. And as Rocky puts the pedal to the metal by pursuing the sport, his parents are enjoying the ride.
“Showing our kids that they can achieve their dreams, is one the most important jobs as a parent,” Sarah wrote on Instagram in April. "Rocky’s dream is @f1. Watching him on the road (literally and figuratively) makes me truly ecstatic."
As for Charlotte, she aspires to follow in her mom and dad’s experienced footsteps.
"Does it scare the s--t out of me?" Sarah asked The Hollywood Reporter in 2023. "Well, we have rules in place. She can't be in front of a camera until she graduates high school. She says to me, 'That's unfair. You were a child actor.' Yes, I was. But I was not the child of two famous parents."
So no, it’s not cruel intentions. It’s just that Sarah and Freddie want to protect their children’s privacy. Which is one of the reasons the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress and the She’s All That alum didn’t initially allow their kids to have social media accounts.
"I believe kids need to know what their limitations are, and they actually thrive in that environment," she explained to Yahoo! Life in 2022. "We're not mean, we're not unnecessarily strict, but we have rules. And the same way I abide by my code of rules, I expect the same from our children."
Though now that they've loosened their social media restrictions, their family photos certainly, well, slay.
