One of AEW's top names, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, has no love lost for the son of a departed wrestling icon, issuing a threat to the latter on social media recently. The person in question in this case is none other than Brodie Lee Jr, aka The Dark Order's Negative One and the son of Mr. Brodie Lee and Amanda Huber.

It was back in December, 2020, that The Exalted One tragically passed on from a rare respiratory illness. In the aftermath, in addition to tributes from across the wrestling world, AEW hosted a special memorial show to honor Brodie Lee in Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The episode presented a number of matches featuring members of The Dark Order, including a trios bout pitting Alex Reynolds, John Silver and Hangman Adam Page against Santana, Ortiz and MJF, at the time representing The Inner Circle.

At a decisive moment during the matchup, Friedman ate a kendo stick to the face from Negative One after having antagonized him at ringside. Amanda Huber was recently reflecting on the Brodie Lee Celebration of Life program and reminisced on how MJF had conducted himself in character with Brodie Lee Jr. so as to allow him to enjoy the escapism of wrestling while coping with his father's loss. She also remarked on the audience's catharsis when Negative One had finally clobbered MJF - and the former AEW World Champion has seemingly not forgotten the blow..

Staying in character as usual, the self-proclaimed "generational talent" threatened to go after Brodie Lee Jr. as soon as he turns 18, at which point he will presumably be able to perform for All Elite Wrestling if he so chooses. Responding to Amanda's post on X/Twitter, MJF wrote:

"Second that kid turns 18 he’s FU***D", posted Friedman.

Second that kid turns 18 he’s FU***D

Whether The Wolf of Wrestling and Negative One will ever lock horns in AEW remains to be seen.

MJF is gearing up for a title match at an upcoming AEW pay-per-view

At the start of this year, Maxwell Jacob Friedman had set his sights on recapturing his prized "Triple B". The Salt of the Earth now has the chance to regain the belt before 2025 comes to a close this Saturday at Worlds End, where he, Swerve Strickland and Adam Page will be in a four-way to try and dethrone Samoa Joe for the AEW Men's World Championship.

It remains to be seen if MJF will be able to overcome the odds and finally reclaim the World Title for the second time in his career.
