The SEC is no stranger to powerhouse softball programs. The 2025 conference tournament is getting started this week, and there's sure to be some intense competition.
Sitting at the top of the national and conference ranks, Oklahoma has claimed the No. 1 seed after its inaugural season in the SEC. The Sooners have claimed the last four national titles and even pulled off the last three in sweeps.
Texas A&M, Texas, Tennessee and Arkansas round out the top five. Florida won the conference title last year, but the Gators have dropped down to slot No. 6 this time around.
After five days of competition, the winning team will earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament bracket, which will be revealed shortly after.

The 2025 SEC softball tournament will start on Tuesday, May 6, and end on Saturday, May 10. All games will be played at Jack Turner Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
