Seahawks kicker Jason Myers shared a heartfelt moment with his biggest supporters Sunday after Seattle’s 29-13 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl 2026.
Joined on the field at Levi’s Stadium by wife Katie and their two children, Myers — who etched his name into the Super Bowl record book with five field goals, along with two extra points kicked for a total of 17 points — embraced Katie as he soaked in his first-ever championship, as captured on video by the NFL’s Instagram account.
“Best Super Bowl performance for a kicker ever,” one fan remarked in the comments.
“Best kicker of all time,” another posted.
Others remarked that Myers, the league’s scoring leader of 2025, delivered an MVP-level performance.
His teammate, running back Kenneth Walker III, was named Super Bowl MVP, becoming the first running back to win the title in 28 years.
He rushed for 135 yards and had 26 yards in the air.
An undrafted free agent out of Marist College in 2013, Myers didn’t get his first NFL break until 2015 with the Jaguars.
He joined the Seahawks in January 2018 in his first stint with the team.
Upon being released that summer, Myers was claimed off waivers by the Jets.
