Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker makes strange admission after signing with Chiefs

The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a Super Bowl ring and have to feel rather confident heading into next season. There were some players who left in free agency, including some impactful ones, mainly Kenneth Walker, but Seattle did a good job in the draft and the rest of free agency, putting them in a position to be one of the best teams in the NFL once again next season.

The addition of Walker can definitely have an impact on this offense, though, as the star running back took a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. From the sound of things, Walker seemingly had a feeling he wasn't going to return throughout the year, which is a bit unfortunate for all involved.

“I would say, if I’m being honest, sometime during the season,” Walker told Mike Florio, HT Heavy. “Things didn’t work out how I expected, and that’s all right because it worked out for the team. But yeah, it was during the season, and then once free agency came around, you pretty much knew you weren’t going to be there anymore. Me personally, I knew I wasn’t going to be there anymore.”

Walker going out there and doing what was needed in the run game is very impressive if he actually had a feeling he wasn't going to return to the Seahawks.

To go out there and continue playing football at the level he did shows the type of worker he is and the type of player the Chiefs are getting. It's unfortunate that he's leaving Seattle, but this is the name of the game in the NFL.
