Entering the Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks defense is one of the best in the NFL, and can go toe-to-toe with any offense and defense around the NFL.
But, on the other side of the ball, the confidence isn't nearly as high. Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker are stars, but there is some concern about Sam Darnold. But even he's not the biggest worry.
As Ben Solak of ESPN points out, Seahawks fans should be very worried about the matchup between offensive guard Anthony Bradford and defensive tackle Milton Williams during the Super Bowl.
Seahawks fans should be concerned about Milton Williams vs. Anthony Bradford
"The greatest weakness of the Seahawks' offense from a personnel perspective is Bradford, the right guard," Solak writes. "Over two postseason games, Bradford has given up a whopping 15.3% pressure rate, according to NFL Next Gen stats."
That's a lot of pressure that Bradford is allowing. And while the Seahawks can help him a bit with their center and right tackle, the Seahawks will have to get better play from Bradford in the Super Bowl than their last two playoff matchups.
But that's easier said than done, especially with his most likely opponent on the other side of the ball. Williams is a game-wrecker, and is about as bad a matchup as the Seahawks could ask for.
"Only two players in the NFL have a pressure rate above 13% when rushing over the guard," Solak writes, "and they just happen to be teammates: Williams and Christian Barmore, the defensive tackle duo for the Patriots."
Facing Williams, a player who dominated the Super Bowl a year ago for the Philadelphia Eagles, is already an incredibly challenging matchup.
But, with Barmore opposite Williams, there will be no rest for the Seahawks offensive line all game long. It's the toughest matchup possible for any interior offensive line.
And with the Seahawks offensive line being their biggest weakness on either side of the ball, this matchup could dictate how the Super Bowl goes.
As Solak identified, this matchup for Bradford, along with Jalen Sundell and Grey Zabel, might be the deciding factor in the Super Bowl. And with how much Bradford has struggled lately, this should be a very concerning matchup for Seahawks fans.
