Seahawks face depth issues once again for Week 10 vs. Cardinals

5 hours ago 2

Although the Seattle Seahawks made a trade with the New Orleans Saints at the NFL trade deadline, sending a 2026 fourth-round and fifth-round pick in exchange for wide receiver Rashid Shaheed, injuries continue to be brought up entering Week 10.

Seattle will look to be short on the defensive side of the ball. Julian Love (hamstring) will miss the game after being placed on injured reserve, and linebacker Ernest Jones (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday.

Injuries have piled up on the offensive side of the ball as well. The Seahawks could be without some of their top pass catchers for their contest against the Arizona Cardinals.

Cooper Kupp, Tory Horton, and AJ Barner's status for Week 10 vs. Cardinals is uncertain

According to The News Tribune's Gregg Bell, the Seahawks could be without wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton, as well as tight end AJ Barner, due to setbacks this week.

Kupp missed last week's blowout win over the Washington Commanders after picking up a hamstring injury during practice. He was already dealing with a heel injury as well. Heading into the weekend, he's been labeled as questionable for Week 10 but logged a full practice on Friday.

Horton, after securing two touchdowns in a game that he stepped into the WR2 spot, is doubtful for Sunday while dealing with groin and shin injuries.

Barner, who has been the Seahawks' top tight end this season, is listed as questionable after picking up a calf injury. He was able to practice in full on Friday, which is good news heading into the weekend.

Seattle has already labeled wide receivers Jake Bobo (calf) and Dareke Young (quad) as out for the Week 10 game. With this being said, Rashid Shaheed, along with breakout star Jaxon Smith-Njigba, may have to carry the large workload for the team against the Arizona Cardinals if Kupp, Horton, and Barner are unable to suit up in the game.
