Ruh-roh!

A cartoonish crook in a Scooby-Doo costume broke into a convenience store in Alabama, and police are now asking for the public’s help to solve the mystery.

The burglar was caught on camera in the full-body costume — complete with doggy ears — and a mask to cover his face when he broke into the Quick Stop on Highway 82 in Duncanville early Sunday, according to the Tuscaloosa Police Department.

Police said the thief activated the store’s security alarm around 3:45 a.m. but ran off before officers arrived.

He made off with cash and change “but no snacks,” police quipped in a Facebook post.

“Anyone who can help us unmask this villain may call 205-349-2121 or submit an anonymous tip on our app,” police said.

The thief delighted netizens, who responded with their own Scooby-Doo jokes.

“Have you interviewed Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy to see if they were waiting for Scooby in the Mystery Machine?” a woman said jokingly in the comments of the police department’s post.

Another person wrote, “When he gets caught and his mask is taken off he’s gonna say if it weren’t for you and those meddling kids.”

One woman quipped, “Instead of an ankle monitor can we do a shock collar instead?”

A poser added, “Scooby Doo always taught us that the real monsters are the people.”
