Nancy was last seen on Saturday night when she was taken back to her Tucson home after a family dinner — and she did not show up to church the following morning.

While the 84-year-old is of a “sound mind” and “sharp as a tack,” she had physical ailments and is believed to have been “taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night.”

“That includes possible kidnapping or abduction,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said Monday. “This is an elderly woman in her mid-80s who suffers from ailments… she couldn’t go 50 yards.”

In Savannah’s initial statement, the Daytime Emmy winner wrote, “On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support. Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.

“We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900,” Savannah, who has been absent from the “Today” show and is set to pull out of hosting the Winter Olympics, concluded.
