Sam Darnold is taking his Super Bowl 2026 victory lap with his biggest supporter.
Two days after the Seahawks dismantled the Patriots in the big game, 29-13, the quarterback’s fiancée, Katie Hoofnagle, took to her Instagram Stories Tuesday to give fans a peek into the couple’s postgame festivities, which included a stop at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.
In the moments following Sunday’s win, Hoofnagle joined Darnold, 28, on the field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, where they celebrated with a postgame embrace.
She then got a turn holding the Lombardi Trophy after a relentless Seahawks defense stifled Drake Maye and Co. en route to the franchise’s second-ever championship.
“My job was to take care of the football,” said Darnold, who went 19-for-38 with 202 yards and one touchdown. “If I had to take sacks or throw the ball away I would do it. I just played that kind of game.”
Sunday’s shining moment has been a long time in the making for Darnold.
A former first-round pick with the Jets, Darnold had long been regarded as a castoff following failed stints in New York and Carolina.
He spent the 2023 season as Brock Purdy’s backup in San Francisco before assuming the starting role in Minnesota, where he revived his career with a surprise 14-3 campaign.
Darnold went on to sign a three-year, $100.5 million deal with Seattle in free agency last March.
Hoofnagle, who announced her engagement to Darnold ahead of the 2025 season, joined the quarterback as the festivities got rolling Sunday night, according to a separate slide in her Instagram Stories.
She then jetted to Southern California with Darnold, who visited the Happiest Place on Earth with this year’s Super Bowl MVP, running back Kenneth Walker III.
The Seahawks stars rode the tea cups and greeted fans during a parade down Main Street USA.
Darnold then posed for a photo with Hoofnagle in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
“Go Hawks!!” Darnold wrote Tuesday on Instagram as he commemorated Sunday’s win.
“I LOVE YOU AND THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS,” Hoofnagle responded.
The couple made their romance Instagram official in 2023.
