Cami Clune sings the national anthem before Buffalo Sabres home games.
Really, she sings two anthems -- both O Canada and The Star Spangled Banner, as the Sabres are one of two U.S. teams (with the Detroit Red Wings) to sing both the Canadian and United States national anthems before games.
Her role has continued into the playoffs, first with three home games in the opening round as Buffalo got past the Boston Bruins, and now into the second round against the Montreal Canadiens.
The Sabres won Game 1 at home on Wednesday, and they're back home for Game 2 on Friday night.
Clune's performances have seemed on the mark throughout the playoffs, and when her microphone stopped working momentarily during Game 5 against the Bruins, the whole crowd stepped in to belt out O Canada with no problem.
Despite Clune's solid work, apparently she has some haters. She had this message to share with them on social media before Game 2 against the Canadiens:
hey if you have something mean to say to me please do not send it to my professional email LOL😭

It's not particularly clear what people would have to hate on Clune with, but some people just like to be mad about things.
At the moment, Clune is part of a major moment in Buffalo as the Sabres put together their best season in more than a decade. Every night, she's a small part of the most special story in the NHL.
