Rudy Gobert dribbling video has NBA fans rolling on the floor laughing at Timberwolves center

Rudy Gobert has not spent much of his NBA career dribbling.

That's part of what has a pregame workout video of Gobert working on his ball-handling going viral. Because the Timberwolves center is not exactly a virtuoso with the basketball on the floor.

On the one hand, you've gotta respect Gobert's commitment to the craft.

On the other hand, that's definitely not his craft.

Gobert is a four-time Defensive Player of the Year for his rim protection. He's a passable offensive player for his ability to finish as the roll man after setting a screen.

He is never, ever, ever going to wow anyone with an in-game dribble.

This is probably just a way for him to get warmed up, but the fact that he can't even keep control of the basketballs in this setting definitely has NBA fans all over social media greatly amused.

Gobert only really has one way to get the last laugh, and that would be by leading the Timberwolves to what at the moment seems like quite the unlikely comeback against the Thunder.

If Minnesota's season ends in the coming days, the last memory fans have of Gobert from 2024-25 will be this ball handling, or lack thereof.
