Ruben Amorim points out 'most dangerous thing' that Man United have

Manchester United were on the receiving end of a 2-0 defeat against West Ham United in the Premier League on May 11 at Old Trafford.

There are no hopes left for the Red Devils in terms of the Premier League this season, as they stand 16th in the table with two matches remaining. United also got eliminated from the EFL Cup and the FA Cup.

The only shot at some salvation left for Man United this season is claiming the Europa League title, which would also cut head coach Ruben Amorim some slack in his debut season at Old Trafford.

Amorim, who was appointed as Man United manager in November, has often been candid about the issues he and his squad are undergoing amid another underwhelming season. Now, the Portuguese manager has pointed out the 'most dangerous thing' that he thinks the club 'need to address.'

What, according to Ruben Amorim, is the 'most dangerous thing' that Man United have?

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day after their loss against West Ham, Amorim mentioned that Man United not being 'scared of losing a game' is 'the most dangerous thing.'

"We need to be more aggressive and we need to feel that it is the end of the world when we are not winning a game. Especially when we are not winning. So it's a big problem that we have here at the club. It's a decisive moment in the history of the club. We need to address that," he said.

"It's a big problem because it's mentally. We are not scared of losing a game as Manchester United. We don't have that fear anymore and that is the most dangerous thing that a big club can have," added Amorim.

Amorim further spoke about the lack of fear and 'feeling of urgency' in his squad, claiming that those aspects 'need to change.'

The 40-year-old manager also held himself responsible, mentioning that if they fail to bring on the changes 'really fast,' 'different people' should take over.

"I think it's a concern. It's not the players fault. It's my fault, I'm responsible. If we cannot change that really fast we should give our place to different people," said Amorim.

"We need to change things. Only we can change things. We are missing that feeling of urgency and it's something which is hard to explain."

Amorim & Co. will be hoping to save grace by fighting for the Europa League trophy in the final against Tottenham Hotspur at San Mames on May 21.
