One of the most entertaining NBA players of the 21st century wants to make a comeback.
He has a lot of former suitors to choose from.
12-year veteran Patrick Beverley announced on his podcast he wants to make a comeback.
His most recent encounter with professional hoops? An eight-month stint with Hapoel Tel Aviv of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Beverley was suspended for criticizing his coach on social media and the two sides agreed to part ways in February.
Beverley played for the Rockets, Clippers, Timberwolves, 76ers, Lakers, Bucks and Bulls in his NBA career.
He most recently was in Milwaukee where he was traded in 2024. His best performance came on April 9 when he scored 20 points and added 10 rebounds in a 104-91 win over the Boston Celtics.
If he was to return, one of his former six teams could be at the front of the line for his services. Beverley would fit in well with Houston's defensive tenacity and could provide another spark off the bench for Ime Udoka.
"I don't need no favors just get me in training camp I'll do the rest," Beverley announced on his podcast.
After his exit from the Israeli Basketball League and other contentious incidents in the NBA, it might not just be Beverley's on-court performance that plays a role.

His recent time with the Bucks was marred with an ugly suspension, just like in Israel.
During a game 6 loss to the Pacers in May, Beverley twice threw a basketball at fans that were behind the bench. After the game, he refused to answer a question from a media member because she wasn't subscribed to his podcast.
The NBA quickly rebuked Beverley for both moments, suspending him four games.
Teams will be cautious with the notorious hothead, but there's still a good chance Pat Bev could make a return to the league.
