Veteran Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will suit up for the Steelers' final game of the regular season against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Rodgers had signed a one-year deal with the Steelers earlier this year and the game against Baltimore on the weekend could be his last for the season as Pittsburgh's postseason spot remains uncertain.

While his tenure with the Steelers is nearing its conclusion, rumors of the 42-year-old quarterback's retirement have also picked up over the last few days. Four-time Super Bowl winner Rob Gronkowski made his feelings known on Rodgers' future amid the retirement rumors.

“I’ve enjoyed this experience, and everybody in Pittsburgh has been fantastic to me on and off the field,” Rodgers said. “And it’s really what I was hoping for this experience was, it’s been even better than I was hoping.”

Veteran Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers reflects on potential 2026 NFL season

As Aaron Rodgers nears the end of his Steelers tenure, the four-time MVP was asked about his NFL future this week. Rodgers said he will have that discussion with his wife after the end of the season.

“I don’t really want to get too deep into it, you know?” Rodgers said on Wednesday. “Obviously, I’ll talk to my wife. and then, you know, hopefully that’s a decision down the line, but I’m not really going to talk about anything.”

The veteran quarterback didn't rule out a second year with the Steelers in 2026 either and feels that "familiarity with the offense" could improve his performance next season.
