The Permafrost can be obtained by getting the Season 2 Prime Pass. You can only access the weapon in the premium tier of the battle pass for 599 Robux. Once you purchase the battle pass, you can get the weapon as the reward immediately. So, you don’t need to worry about leveling the battle pass up at all while pursuing the Permafrost.

The Permafrost has two fire modes mapped to the two buttons on your mouse. The Left Mouse Button is the standard fire mode, which consumes one bullet per shot and deals around 14 damage per hit. Each successful hit applies a slowdown effect on the target for one second per shot, making them easier to hit. Its fire rate is extremely high as well, so you can stack shot slowdowns very quickly.

With the Right Mouse Button, you can use up all of the remaining ammunition to instantly freeze the targeted enemy. The length of the frozen duration depends on the amount of ammo consumed with the shot. This is particularly effective if you’re going for one-hit builds with grenades and other high-damage weapons.

Its high DPS and easy slowdown status build-up make the Permafrost one of the most effective weapons in all game modes. In team modes, in particular, this weapon can wreak havoc when paired with RPGs or Snipers, easily slotting into both the damage dealer and support roles.
