Jeff Hardy commented on John Cena's final match

John Cena tapping out to Gunther is a visual that many WWE fans will struggle to forget. This is because Cena lived by the words "Never Give Up." It also looks like this visual will also haunt Jeff Hardy.

During an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Jeff Hardy said that Cena dedicated so much of his existence to WWE. He also said that he will never forget the visual of the 17-time World Champion smiling before tapping out.

“He committed and dedicated so much of his human existence to WWE, and it's so inspiring. I'll never forget that view of the sleeper hold, and the smirk, and then the tap. I'm like, oh my gosh, this is amazing. That last year, he was having some killer matches, letting it all hang out, like my dad used to say. Hitting all these crazy moves, getting the code red. I was just loving every moment of it.”

John Cena's retirement marked the end of an era in WWE.
