A WWE veteran recently fell for a false claim about AEW. Ricochet has now taken a massive dig at him.
This week on AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher faced off against Mike Bailey in a Continental Classic Gold League match. Both men put on an exciting contest, but it was Bailey who emerged victorious. Unfortunately, a controversy emerged out of this match. A fan posted a doctored image from the match with a fake tweet claiming that "WWE could never put on a great match like this." Some fans were quick to call out the post for being fake after they noticed the "imgflip.com" watermark in the bottom left corner. However, this was enough to fool former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas.
The former WWE referee took to social media to blast Tony Khan's company for such an atrocious act.
"The fact they put this on tv says more about them than anything else. Explains why their talent are constantly on social media trying to dog the other guys. This is why the Sickos act the way they do. The company encourages the tribalism."Check out his tweet here:

Tony Khan revealed why he made Ricochet the AEW National Champion
After Tony Khan introduced the AEW National Championship, he announced a Casino Gauntlet match at Full Gear to crown the inaugural champion. Several top stars competed in the match, but it was Ricochet who won the bout and became the inaugural champion.
During a recent appearance on the Battleground podcast, Tony Khan praised the high flyer for being a major star in the wrestling industry and called him a great person to represent AEW.
“We’ve got a new National Champion, Ricochet, who will be defending that title all over the world. And he’s somebody that not only AEW fans respect–I believe he’s a great, great wrestler–but also someone who is a huge name in wrestling and a great person to represent [All Elite Wrestling], not just here on our TV shows, but also when traveling to other promotions in America.”It will be interesting to see how long the former WWE star will be able to hold on to the AEW National Championship.
