Ricochet takes a massive dig at former WWE champion ahead of AEW Holiday Bash

Ricochet is known for being outspoken in the world of professional wrestling. The Lightskin Kingpin often takes massive shots at his fellow AEW stars on social media. Recently, he took a dig at his long-time rival, a former WWE champion, ahead of AEW Holiday Bash.

In terms of AEW storytelling, Ricochet has no love lost for former NXT North American Champion Swerve Strickland. The two stars have been involved in various heated confrontations in AEW over the past few years. They often take jabs at each other through social media posts. Tonight, AEW is set to host its Holiday Bash event in Manchester, England, and both stars are set to appear.

Ahead of the show, BLCKSMTH announced a special Swerve Strickland shirt for tonight's show that is only available at the venue. The One & Only responded to this promotion post with a stern message. He claimed that nobody is interested in buying special Strickland shirts at all.

"No one's gonna buy this garbage." AEW National Champion wrote.

Ricochet confirms he has no interest in returning to WWE

Ricochet had an impactful run in WWE over the past few years. He became a North American Champion, United States Champion, and even the Intercontinental Champion on the main roster. However, despite winning titles, he seemingly found his run underwhelming in the promotion.

Recently, on WWE star Bronson Reed's post, a fan tagged The Lightskin Kingpin, saying that he is waiting for his return to WWE. The AEW National Champion clearly said that he has no interest in coming back to the Stamford-based promotion.
