Ricochet has become a prominent fixture on AEW television for a long time. He is set to compete in a huge four-way showdown with high stakes involved. Before lacing up his boots, the former WWE United States Champion made a bold proclamation.

Since joining All Elite Wrestling and turning heel, Ricochet has displayed a captivating and exhilarating personality that has garnered major attention from fans. Moreover, he is leading the charge of his own faction, The Demand, which is comprised of Gates of Agony members, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona.

At the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite: Fright Night, Ricochet has been scheduled to compete in a four-way match against Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, and HOOK. The winner will earn the right to challenge Hangman Adam Page for his AEW World Championship at Full Gear 2025. Days before the match, The One and Only took to his X to remind the fans that he had defeated two of the competitors in the aforementioned match, and was eyeing a hat-trick in his quest to conquer gold on Dynamite.

"I've already previously beat two of the 3. This Wednesday I'll hit the hat trick on my Quest for Gold! #Ahaa 👑."

Ricochet gives his opinion on wife Samantha Irvin's WWE departure

Ricochet left his previous wrestling promotion, WWE, in mid-2024 and joined All Elite Wrestling, making his debut at the All In event that year. Sometime after, his wife, Samantha Irvin, also followed suit and handed in her resignation from her role as a WWE ring announcer.

The Future of Flight revealed that although Irvin loved announcing, she was stuck in a loop. However, after he left the Stamford-based promotion, it became an easy decision for Irvin to exit WWE.

"She knows the characters and how people would announce them, and that characters have their own personalities. She was always kind of wanting to go. Once I departed, that was the straw, and she made up her mind after that," he said.

With Irvin confirming that she had one more year left on her WWE non-compete clause, it remains to be seen if she will join her husband in AEW in the future.
