Bo Bichette dad: Dante Bichette
Bo Bichette's dad, Dante, is a retired MLB player who enjoyed a 14-year career with the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox.
Dante was drafted by the Angels in the 1984 MLB Draft, making his major league debut four years later. He was traded to the Brewers in 1991, but truly made a name for himself when he was traded to the expansion Rockies in 1993.
Over seven seasons with Colorado, Dante earned four All-Star selections, including the 1995 season, when he was the National League home run and RBI leader. Dante retired after the 2001 season, finishing his career with a .299 batting average and 1,141 hits, including 274 home runs.
In retirement, Dante has spent time as the Rockies' hitting coach and as a coach with the Toronto Blue Jays, where he worked with Bo.

Bo Bichette mom: Mariana Bichette
Mariana Bichette is Bo's mom and the wife of Dante Sr. The two met in Boston in 1991, when Dante was in town to face the Red Sox.
Mariana was born in Brazil and is credited with her role in Bo's development as a young player. Because Bo is five years younger than Dante Jr. the two played baseball on different circuits growing up.
While Dante Sr. was with Dante Jr., Mariana was the one following Bo.
"I was always very appreciative of her because — this didn’t happen much — but if I had a bad weekend playing, she would never get mad at me for not playing well," Bichette told MLB.com of his mother's influence.
"She would literally just ask me, ‘Well, did you practice enough during the week?’ Typically, the answer was 'no,' so that’s where she taught me the most about understanding that the work and the process is all you can control. That’s all we can worry about."
