Rick Pitino has won a national championship at two schools and been to a Final Four at three, but the job he has done at St. John's might feel the sweetest for the Hall of Famer.
After years of irrelevance for the Red Storm, Pitino's home of New York is again buzzing for college basketball. St. John's has won back-to-back Big East titles under Pitino, and the Johnnies are in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1999.
If Pitino's track record in the Sweet 16 is any indication, it might not be the end of the road for St. John's just yet.
Here's a look at Pitino's record in the Sweet 16 and his complete March Madness history.
