WWE legend Ric Flair has officially put to bed the rumors that he’s battling cancer, assuring fans he’s in good health and very much still styling and profiling.
The 76-year-old wrestling Hall of Famer responded Tuesday, May 6 to growing speculation online that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer. The rumors reportedly stemmed from a comment made by his son-in-law, wrestling promoter Conrad Thompson, though no diagnosis was ever confirmed.
I’m Sorry People Have Been Misled By Social Media, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind. Thank You For Your Concerns And For Everyone Reaching Out. I Am Absolutely Fine, And Unfortunately, You’ll Have To Live And Put Up With Me For Another 25 Years!

In classic Flair fashion, he capped the message with a flourish: “I am absolutely fine, and unfortunately, you’ll have to live and put up with me for another 25 years!”
Fans jumped right into the ring with relief and celebration. One wrote, “Glad you’re OK legend,” while many just simply dropped his iconic catchphrase: “Woooooooo!!!!!”
Flair has faced serious health challenges before, including kidney failure in 2017 and a heart attack during his final match in 2022. But once again, the Nature Boy is proving he’s tougher than any rumor—and isn’t going anywhere.
