Less than a week after Super Bowl 60, some major news came out for all 32 NFL teams. As ESPN's Adam Schefter shared, the NFL won a grievance against the NFLPA, which will put an end to the public team report cards.
These report cards would come out after every season, grading each team on the following categories: Treatment of families, Food/dining area, Nutritionist/dietician, Locker room, Training room, Training staff, Weight room, Strength coaches, Team travel, Head coach, and Ownership.
In the wake of the NFL's win to stop the release of these report cards from the NFLPA, last year's report cards are worth revisiting, and specifically, the worst graded teams from around the league. Among those teams are the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and, surprisingly, the New England Patriots, who made the Super Bowl this season.
Revisiting the 10 worst NFLPA team report card grades for 2025
32. Arizona Cardinals
The worst team in the NFLPA's final report card was the Arizona Cardinals. They were ranked 32nd out of 32 teams, with poor grades in nearly every category.
| Treatment of Families | D+ | 32nd |
| Food / Dining Area | D- | 30th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | B | 22nd |
| Locker Room | F- | 32nd |
| Training Room | D- | 32nd |
| Training Staff | C | 31st |
| Weight Room | F | 31st |
| Strength Coaches | C+ | 31st |
| Team Travel | B | 20th |
| Head Coach | A | 8th |
| Ownership | D- | 30th |
The Cardinals graded as the worst team in the league with their locker room, training room, and treatment of families. Their highest graded area, their head coach, was just fired after the 2025 season.
31. New England Patriots
The NFLPA's report card graded the New England Patriots as the second-worst team in the NFL. For a team with such a storied history and immense success, this was a surprising grade for what's been one of the top teams in recent years.
| Treatment of Families | C+ | 18th |
| Food / Dining Area | C | 24th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | B | 25th |
| Locker Room | C- | 22nd |
| Training Room | C- | 30th |
| Training Staff | C+ | 26th |
| Weight Room | F | 32nd |
| Strength Coaches | B | 26th |
| Team Travel | F | 31st |
| Head Coach | B+ | 24th |
| Ownership | D | 29th |
The Patriots had the NFL's worst weight room and was second worst in team travel. They're building new facilities, so if these report cards hadn't stopped, things might've looked better a few years from now.
30. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns come in as the third-worst graded team from last season's NFLPA team report card, with multiple categories falling in the bottom three around the league.
| Treatment of Families | D+ | 28th |
| Food / Dining Area | C- | 26th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | B- | 26th |
| Locker Room | F- | 31st |
| Training Room | D+ | 31st |
| Training Staff | C- | 32nd |
| Weight Room | A | 8th |
| Strength Coaches | B+ | 19th |
| Team Travel | D | 28th |
| Head Coach | C | 30th |
| Ownership | C+ | 22nd |
The Browns had the NFL's worst training staff and had one of the worst locker rooms, training rooms, and head coaches in the league. Kevin Stefanski was fired, so there is some change has already been made based on this grade from last year.
29. New York Jets
The New York Jets come in as the 4th-worst team by the NFLPA's team report cards. Owner Woody Johnson was a big reason this report card is now over, as he was a leading voice to get the NFLPA to stop releasing them to the public.
| Treatment of Families | C- | 24th |
| Food / Dining Area | C- | 29th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | B+ | 13th |
| Locker Room | D+ | 26th |
| Training Room | C | 28th |
| Training Staff | C | 29th |
| Weight Room | C+ | 26th |
| Strength Coaches | B | 29th |
| Team Travel | C+ | 24th |
| Head Coach | B | 25th |
| Ownership | F | 32nd |
The Jets' most noteworthy grade was for their owner, Woody Johnson. It's fitting that the worst graded owner was one of the leading voices to get the report cards to stop.
While that was their lone league-worst graded category, overall, their grades aren't great, with only the team's Nutritionist / Dietitian being in the top-half of the league.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers
Coming in at 28th in the NFLPA report card are the Pittsburgh Steelers. They were ranked in the same spot the prior year, so not much changed for Pittsburgh players from one year to the next, which, with this grade, is not a good look.
| Treatment of Families | C- | 26th |
| Food / Dining Area | B- | 21st |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | C+ | 30th |
| Locker Room | D | 27th |
| Training Room | C+ | 25th |
| Training Staff | B | 18th |
| Weight Room | C+ | 28th |
| Strength Coaches | C- | 32nd |
| Team Travel | B+ | 15th |
| Head Coach | A | 7th |
| Ownership | D | 28th |
The Steelers were graded as having the worst strength coaches in the league. While it's not their worst grade - a tie between ownership and the locker room, a D - the Steelers were graded as the worst in the NFL in one category.
Mike Tomlin was their lone A grade, and their highest-ranked category by far. But now, he's off the team, replaced by Mike McCarthy. If this report card were to be made in the future, the Steelers might drop a bit with the loss of Tomlin.
27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the 27th graded team in the final NFLPA survey before it was shut down. While not the worst in the league, it's the worst of the NFC South. But, they weren't the worst in any category.
| Treatment of Families | C- | 25th |
| Food / Dining Area | C- | 28th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | B+ | 16th |
| Locker Room | C | 21st |
| Training Room | C+ | 24th |
| Training Staff | B | 21st |
| Weight Room | B | 19th |
| Strength Coaches | A | 6th |
| Team Travel | C- | 26th |
| Head Coach | B+ | 23rd |
| Ownership | D+ | 27th |
While the 27th overall grade isn't ideal for the Buccaneers, not having any graded metric in the bottom few spots is a decent spot to be in. Their worst grade was their ownership at a D+, while their strength coaches were a top-10 group at 6th overall.

26. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs, a Super Bowl champion team coming off their third straight appearance, were graded as the 26th-worst team in the league by the NFLPA report card.
| Treatment of Families | B- | 15th |
| Food / Dining Area | B | 16th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | A- | 5th |
| Locker Room | D- | 28th |
| Training Room | C- | 29th |
| Training Staff | C | 28th |
| Weight Room | C+ | 30th |
| Strength Coaches | B | 24th |
| Team Travel | B | 21st |
| Head Coach | A+ | 4th |
| Ownership | C- | 26th |
The Chiefs had two categories as top-five in the NFL, with their head coach, Andy Reid, and their nutritionist/dietitian graded very highly.
But, with low grades in a lot of other categories, the Chiefs finished as the 26th-worst graded team in the NFLPA's last report card.
25. Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers were the NFLPA's 25th-worst team after the 2024 NFL season. While this isn't a good grade, they do have a few areas where they're graded fairly highly.
| Treatment of Families | B+ | 7th |
| Food / Dining Area | B | 18th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | A- | 8th |
| Locker Room | C | 20th |
| Training Room | B- | 18th |
| Training Staff | B+ | 7th |
| Weight Room | C+ | 27th |
| Strength Coaches | A | 8th |
| Team Travel | D | 29th |
| Head Coach | A- | 17th |
| Ownership | D- | 31st |
While the Panthers finished with a top-10 in Treatment of Families, Nutritionist / Dietician, Training Staff, and Strength Coaches, the rest of these categories weighed them down.
David Tepper is being graded as the second-worst owner is a big reason for the lower grade, as Carolina comes in as the 25th-worst graded organization from the final NFLPA report card.
24. Cincinnati Bengals
Coming in at 24th overall, or the 9th-worst graded team, is the Cincinnati Bengals. They are one of the more interesting teams, with wild swings in grades across different categories, some being among the best, others the worst.
| Treatment of Families | F- | 32nd |
| Food / Dining Area | F | 32nd |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | C | 32nd |
| Locker Room | A+ | 3rd |
| Training Room | B+ | 6th |
| Training Staff | A- | 4th |
| Weight Room | B | 16th |
| Strength Coaches | A- | 12th |
| Team Travel | A- | 10th |
| Head Coach | A | 9th |
| Ownership | C | 25th |
The Bengals grades are very interesting. While they're top-10 in four categories, they're also the worst in the league when it comes to the Treatment of Families, Food/Dining Area, and the team's Nutritionist/Dietician.
Add on a bottom-10 owner, and despite being strong in multiple areas, the Bengals final grade from the NFLPA's report card is among the worst in the NFL.
23. Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills are the final team in this list, ranking as the 10th-worst graded team in the NFLPA's most recent and final report card.
| Treatment of Families | B+ | 9th |
| Food / Dining Area | B- | 20th |
| Nutritionist / Dietician | B- | 27th |
| Locker Room | B | 16th |
| Training Room | B- | 20th |
| Training Staff | C | 27th |
| Weight Room | A | 7th |
| Strength Coaches | B+ | 23rd |
| Team Travel | F- | 32nd |
| Head Coach | B | 27th |
| Ownership | B | 17th |
The Bills have the worst team travel in the NFL, despite having solid grades with their Treatment of Families and the Weight Room.
Their travel, and other bottom-10 graded categories, have the Bills coming in as the 23rd worst team, and the third AFC East team to be featured in the worst 10 graded teams from the NFLPA report card.
All of the most recent NFLPA report cards can be found here on the NFLPA's website, with more insight into the methodology for these grades and why each team graded the category the way they did.
Every other report card can be found there, which features the Miami Dolphins as the 1st-ranked team in the NFL from a year ago.
The Minnesota Vikings were runners-up, with the rest of the league falling between those two teams and the 10 worst graded organizations outlined above.
