Wiggins is averaging 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 26 games. He's shooting 46.8% from the field and 38.8% from deep. This is the first full season in Miami for Wiggins, who was part of the Jimmy Butler to Golden State deal last February.

He has been brought up in trade rumors dating back to last summer. The Milwaukee Bucks are another team to monitor for Wiggins.

Wiggins could be viewed as a valuable asset by playoff-contending teams. He only has one more year left on his contract after this season and is set to make $28.2 million this season.

Rui Hachimura ($18.2M), Gabe Vincent ($11.5M), and Maxi Kleber ($11M) would be salaries to watch in a potential Wiggins-to-LA deal.

"LA can match salaries including Rui Hachimura + another expiring contract," Sidery said.

Wiggins, 30, played six seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves before being dealt to Golden State. He was a key part of the Warriors' 2022 Championship team. He's always been a solid 3-point shooter and would help the Lakers' struggling perimeter defense.
