Derrick Henry just secured the bag.
After one of the best rushing seasons in Baltimore Ravens history, King Henry earned a two-year extension.
The deal, first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, is a two-year extension worth $30 million. Of that, $25 million is guaranteed money.
Henry joined the Ravens before the 2024 season after spending his first eight NFL seasons with the Titans.
And in his age-30 season, Henry ran 325 times for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns.
If not for Saquon Barkley, Henry would've been the poster child for a free agent RB signing going well.
Now, he's getting paid an amount no running back his age has ever gotten.
The Ravens clearly decided it was worth keeping Henry happy and ensuring he ends his career in Baltimore.
MORE: Could the NFL have a draft lottery?
As currently constructed, the QB-RB combo of Lamar Jackson and Henry is as dangerous a rushing backfield as any in football.
The Ravens hope the pair can lead them to a Super Bowl.
They'll need King Henry to remain royal for a couple more seasons, but if he can, they've got a chance to win it all.
