Ravens get pair of bold predictions that'd make for dream 2026 NFL season

1 hour ago 3

The Baltimore Ravens fired John Harbaugh, brought in Jesse Minter, backed out of a blockbuster Maxx Crosby trade, signed Trey Hendrickson, and might've found a steal at wide receiver in the NFL Draft in Ja'Kobi Lane this offseason.

A lot has changed for Baltimore compared to last year, and with a healthy Lamar Jackson leading a reinvigorated offense, this Ravens team could do some serious damage. That's exactly what CBS Sports' Douglas Clawson is predicting will happen.

But Clawson isn't simply predicting the Ravens will have a good season. He's predicting Baltimore will make a splash trade for New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson, and then go on to win the Super Bowl in a dream-come-true scenario for 2026.

Ravens get dream-like prediction for 2026 season with Garrett Wilson trade, Super Bowl title

"Prediction: The Ravens will win the Super Bowl," Clawson writes. "... A deadline trade for Garrett Wilson will give Jackson another weapon at WR, and Trey Hendrickson will have a bounce-back year to help Baltimore's defense round into Championship form."

The Ravens are likely going to be a playoff team this year, and seeing them predicted to be a Super Bowl winner isn't a huge surprise either.

This team has all of the pieces needed for a deep run, and the only question is if they can stay healthy and meet expectations. That includes Minter and the rest of the new coaching staff.

But if there is one area of the roster that could wind up being an issue, it could be the wide receiver room. Zay Flowers is good, but Rashod Bateman and even Lane are big unknowns.

So, Clawson is predicting the Ravens will trade for Wilson, the star Jets receiver, to upgrade the offense and help Baltimore finally win a Super Bowl with Jackson.

This would be a dream come true for the Ravens, as winning the Super Bowl is obviously the main goal, but adding Wilson in the process would give them two incredible receivers in Wilson and Flowers for Jackson.

The Ravens really could use some more offensive firepower in the receiving game, and while Lane could wind up being that, this unrealistic prediction would be a dream scenario for Baltimore that could finally resolve this problem.
