Raptors may target Bucks' 6-foot-11 center if a Giannis trade occurs

The league continues to wait and see what the ultimate resolution is for Bucks' star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

As we saw at this year's trade deadline, many teams were hesitant to make trades amid trade rumors swirling around the Bucks' superstar.

Even if the Bucks do trade away Giannis, it might not be the last trade they make this summer or even in the near future.

Raptors may target Bucks' 6-foot-11 center if a Giannis trade occurs

Michael Grange of Sportsnet said in a recent article, "A couple of league sources have suggested that the Raptors could be interested in Bucks centre Myles Turner if the Bucks go into fire-sale mode after a potential Antetokounmpo trade."

The Raptors have appeared to be in search of a franchise center for a while now, as they reportedly targeted Domantas Sabonis this past season.

Turner could be the next player they target, as they look to elevate their roster. Toronto had a solid season this past year, finishing 5th in the East.

Financially, it appears Jakob Poeltl is a strong candidate to be included in a trade for Turner, or any other center they target.

Turner is coming off his first season with the Bucks, but there's no guarantee that he stays in Milwaukee, even if they look to keep their roster in a competitive state.

Turner is under contract through the 2028-29 season, where he's set to make over $26 million in each of the next three seasons (player option for last year).

In the 2025-26 NBA season, Turner averaged 11.9 points, 5.3 rebounds abd 1.6 blocks in 71 games.
