The Chicago Bears’ incredible 2025 season has been highlighted by their emergence as perhaps the best come-from-behind team in league history.
Of their 12 regular-season wins, six featured fourth-quarter comebacks — the most in league history for a single team. Then, in the first round of the playoffs, Chicago did it again, adding to their comeback lore.
No matter how this season ends for the Bears, fans will remember their toughness and refusal to give up, forcing opponents to play a full 60 minutes. Here’s how the Bears’ comebacks this season rank, from thrilling wins to narrow escapes.

7. Week 11: Bears 19, Vikings 17
This is the only game on the list in which the Bears blew a double-digit lead, only to squeak out a win. Chicago was up 16-3 on the Minnesota Vikings after three quarters, but the Vikings scored two touchdowns in the fourth to take the lead with 50 seconds left. Luckily for the Bears, Devin Duvernay returned a kick to the Minnesota 40-yard line, setting up a nine-yard drive that allowed Cairo Santos to hit the game-winning field goal.

In hindsight, a comeback win over the lowly Las Vegas Raiders isn’t that impressive, but this game came before the wheels fell off the Raiders’ season. Las Vegas led for most of the game but never held more than a one-score advantage, allowing the Bears to execute a game-winning 69-yard drive, capped by a D’Andre Swift touchdown with 1:34 left.

After losing on a hail mary to the Washington Commanders last year, the Bears returned the favor with a comeback win this year on Monday Night Football. The Commanders had an eight-point lead with 11 minutes to go, but Swift scored a 55-yard touchdown to cut the lead to two points, then Jake Moody hit the game-winning field goal in the final seconds to secure a one-point win.

— NFL (@NFL) October 14, 20254. Week 10: Bears 24, Giants 20
As the Bears were the comeback kings in 2025, and the New York Giants were known for blowing leads, it's fitting that this game ended how it did. New York was up 10 points with four minutes to go, but Caleb Williams led two touchdown drives to save the day while the Bears' defense stood firm in the fourth quarter, holding the Giants to seven yards total in their final three drives.

This was one of the wildest games of the year, as both teams blew leads. The Bears led for much of the game, but Cincinnati erased a 14-point deficit to take a one-point lead with 54 seconds left, thanks to Joe Flacco. That, however, left enough time for Caleb Williams to connect with Colston Loveland on a 58-yard touchdown — a ridiculous play that secured the victory.

— NFL (@NFL) November 2, 20252. Week 16: Bears 22, Packers 16 (OT)
With the NFC North on the line, the Bears and Green Bay Packers met in what became one of the games of the year. It was low-scoring early, as Jordan Love left the game with a concussion, but Green Bay took a 10-point lead into the final few minutes. However, the Bears got a field goal and recovered an onside kick, allowing them to score a touchdown and send the game into overtime, where Caleb Williams threw a walk-off touchdown to D.J. Moore.

No comeback can top erasing an 18-point lead against a bitter rival. The Bears looked lifeless in the first half and appeared headed for a quick playoff exit, but Caleb Williams took over in the fourth quarter and led Chicago to 25 points in the final frame. Along the way, Williams made several impressive throws, while the Bears defense sealed the deal in the last seconds.
