The Rangers announced on Thursday that the legendary broadcaster Emily Jones will not return to the team's broadcast coverage, marking 20 years since she joined the broadcast team.
Jones had already started to step back, having appeared on only 20 broadcasts in the past year. She chose to focus on spending time with her family and exploring other opportunities. The Rangers organization announced that Jones will remain close to the organization, taking on future front-of-house and ambassador-style roles, while also sticking around for sponsorship, partnership, and charity events. The broadcast team will remain unchanged from previous years: Dave Raymond will handle TV play-by-play, while David Murphy and Mike Bascik will share analyst duties. Eric Nadel will continue as the lead radio voice, accompanied by Matt Hicks.
