Randy Johnson's daughter Willow tries rear naked choke submission on ex-UFC star boyfriend

MLB legend Randy Johnson's daughter, Willow, hilariously tried a submission move on former UFC welterweight/middleweight Bryan Battle. Willow Johnson is a highly accomplished professional volleyball player.

On Sunday, Battle posted pictures of his girlfriend's submission skills in a multi-snap post on his Instagram. Battlle stood idle in the cover image as his better half put both her hands on his neck from behind. She also cheekily stuck out her tongue.

The second image was similar, with the only difference being her smile. The volleyball star jumped on his back in the next picture and appeared to apply pressure in the next one. The couple shared a smile in the final snap.

"She’s got me in a chokehold 😏," Battle captioned the post.

Johnson's daughter showed gratitude to her boyfriend in the comments.

"Thanks for teaching me your moves😏🤪😘," she wrote.

The rear naked choke (RNC) is a basic grappling submission employed from an opponent's back. It's a choke that restricts blood flow to the brain, rendering an opponent unconscious in approximately nine seconds.

Bryan Battle has won three MMA fights via RNC, two in the UFC. Battle defeated Gilber Urbina and won the Ultimate Fighter 29 Middleweight Tournament with an RNC finish.

"The Butcher" used the same move to defeat Ben Fowler in his previous fight. Battle's latest RNC finish came against A.J. Fletcher at UFC Vegas 79.

Randy Johnson's daughter Willow celebrates Christmas

On Saturday, Randy Johnson's daughter, Willow, shared a multi-snap post on Instagram from her Christmas celebration. Willow Johnson posed with a little girl, presumably her niece, in the cover image.

While the volleyball star wore a red top and white bottom, the little girl was in her green pajamas. The little girl was in the remaining four snaps while Willow was in two.

"My little elf❤️🎄✨," she captioned the post.

Randy Johnson has five children with two different women. His oldest daughter, Heather, was born to Laurel Roszell in 1989. He married Lisa (nee Wiehoff) in 1993 and has four children with her.

Their oldest child, daughter Samantha, was born Dec, 28, 1994. Their son Tanner was born April 5, 1996, followed by Willow, born April 23, 1998. Alexandria Johnson, born Dec 4, 1999, is his youngest child.
