The Los Angeles Rams are making the trip up north to face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. It's a huge Sunday night matchup, and it will be a tough one for the Rams.
But, before they face the Seahawks, the Rams will have something to celebrate: Sean McVay is turning 40 years old on Saturday. When asked about turning 40 the day before the Championship game, McVay had a hilarious response.
Underdog NFL shared McVay's response, which was an NSFW comment about his 40th birthday, and how he does not want any messages wishing him a happy birthday.
Sean McVay has hilarious response to 40th birthday
When asked about turning 40 years old on Saturday, McVay said, "If you guys say happy 40th, I'll slap the (expletive) out of you."
If this comment didn't make it clear, McVay does not want to hear about his 40th birthday on Saturday. The Rams' head coach is one of the youngest coaches in the league, but turning 40, and with other young coaches up-and-coming, that distinction won't last long.
His message could be meant to emphasize he doesn't want to hear about turning 40 specifically, or that he doesn't want a happy birthday wish the day before a big game like the NFC Championship.
Either way, he doesn't want to hear any such wishes on Saturday, and jokingly threatened to slap anyone who does wish him a happy birthday.

The 39-year-old head coach began his coaching career in 2017 at 31 years old, and since then, he's been one of the best coaches in the NFL. He's had just one losing season, and it was the year after the Super Bowl win in 2021.
Finding a coach like McVay is the dream for every team in the NFL, and he's shown that over the years. Now in his 9th season as head coach, McVay has a chance to make it to the Super Bowl for a third time, but will first need to get through the Seahawks.
While the day before the NFC Championship Game is his 40th birthday, McVay doesn't want to hear any birthday wishes; instead focusing on the biggest game of the season.
